Tables, chairs and electricity will not be provided. Cooks should bring their own sterno-powered chafing dishes or gas-powered grill. No generators. Tables will be set up in the courtyard in front of the Industrial Arts Center. No tents. No refunds due to inclement weather or any other acts of nature. Additional beverages will be available for sale.

NEW since last year's cookoff:
We have added a new contest for the best home-made salsa.

PRIZES FOR CHILI COOKS:

Grand Prize, Runner-Up, and 3rd place winners will receive hand blown glass art and glass blowing certificates.

*People's Choice Award for chili will be selected by votes sold at $1 per vote. There is no limit to the number of votes that may be purchased. This is a fun vote to support the IAC operating fund. Dress up and decorate your table to encourage more votes. People's choice winner will also receive hand blown glass art and glass blowing certificates.

PRIZE FOR SALSA COOKS:

JUDGES: Gulfport City Council member Barbara Banno, Richard Reale of Yummy's Casual Cafe, and Ester Venouziou of LocalShops1.

Chili must be prepared in advance of the event, and is expected to be served to the public. There are no restrictions on meat, beans or fillers. A complete list of ingredients must be provided at the table for the safety of guests with food allergies. Judging will be by a blind tasting by a Local Celebrity Judges on quality of aroma, consistency, taste and after-taste.

Public Tasting: 6:30pm - 8:30 p.m.
OPEN Chili turn-in to Judges: 7:00 p.m.
