This is an introductory class that will teach you the basics of (mig) welding, grinding and the properties of recycled steel. Each student will create and bring home a found material sculpture. This is a fun class that will build a good foundation for you to further explore your creativity in the form of metal sculpture.

* Jeans and boots are preferred (no sandals please).
* Feel free to bring any steel pieces from home.

Time: 6 hours
Fee: $175 (members) $210 (non-members)
Materials fee:
$45 additional, collected with registration
